Arpeggiator effect?

There are times when having a full featured arp VST to chain to any instrument would be useful, but I can't find anything like this either here or anywhere else. Anyone aware of such an effect or willing to build one with an attractive, functional gui?

Thanks! Do you know if these will take VSTi output or do they need MIDI input.

So any host I use has to allow MIDI a connection between the arp and the instrument? I guess that leaves out Chainer but should be okay with energyXT.PTV wrote:They will output MIDI to the VSTi you'll use with.

Doesn't the XT Arp comp have all the features you neededuardo_b wrote:So any host I use has to allow MIDI a connection between the arp and the instrument? I guess that leaves out Chainer but should be okay with energyXT.PTV wrote:They will output MIDI to the VSTi you'll use with.
You could also look at Sonicbytes stuff - Phrazer and especially ERA have powerful arps...

Yeah, EXT does have a fine arp, but I was looking for a quick and easy alternative for certain setups. Of the three I tried, only xoxos' arp4midi doesn't seem to work well -- only first preset functioned.Jarlath wrote:Doesn't the XT Arp comp have all the features you neededuardo_b wrote:So any host I use has to allow MIDI a connection between the arp and the instrument? I actually just downloaded Phrazor to try. Not noticed ERA but will look at it. Thanks.
