The version 2.0 of my free guitar soundfont, Guitar Vince has been added to my website : http://vincentbernay.free.fr

This new version contains an other preset: 12 strings, added to the acoustic one, and the overall volume has been lowed.

If you cannot read soundfont, you can use a soundfont player ( works like a VST) like SFZ: http://www.rgcaudio.com/sfz.htm

Many thanks -- I look forward to playing with this. Any idea of when the next version, or the VST version, will be released?

Glad you like it!
I cannot say exactly when the VST version will be released, in a few weeks I suppose or less; and the light version of the soundfont, less big in size will be released soon.
For the moment, I'm thinking of adding an "all chords", major et minor preset, and maybe a sliding preset.
And soon there will be guitar samples to download too.

Downloading........thank you!
It's better to burn out...than it is to um..to um...well, something, anyway...

thanks...added a bit of eq, chorus, and a trace of cheezy echo...sounds a bit more kottke-esque...

I've released today the version 2.1 of Guitar Vince with the following improvements : overall envelopp release increased and background noise of the samples removed, thanks to Kenneth Rundt for these very useful advices!
