as im a bit of a poor student)im not entirely sure when it comes to plug ins with regards to sound forge for example will vst plug ins works or do they have to be specific to sound forge?? any help would be hugely appreciated.Thanks

Hello all im new to the forum, had a little look through the seacrh but couldnt find exactly what im after. I have sound Forge 8 and am looking to find some plug ins (preferably for trial or no cost as im a bit of a poor student)im not entirely sure when it comes to plug ins with regards to sound forge for example will vst plug ins works or do they have to be specific to sound forge?? any help would be hugely appreciated.

VST's work fine in Sound Forge. I use Ozone 3 with it!

VST's (effects) work fine in Sound Forge but VSTi's (virtual instruments) do not. Look in Instruments/Effects/Hosts/search (the column on the left) to find which ones you want. There's plenty of free and trial VSTs there.
