VST FX parameter sent/not sent to host/hardware controller

dear all, i'd like to post a question....some vst/vsti "send" the status of their parameters to the host, then to the controller - i'm thinking of a controller like the behringer bcr2000 - which gets the status and consequently "turn" the knobs (ie lights the led ring till the correct "position") - others don't! is anyone interested in this question? i'd like to know why (and it's just a curiosity...)/how this could be overcome (that's the real question - i feel it's not possible... )?just an example:the guitarsuite fx don't send the status, voxengo boogex do....lastly, i noticed that when you load a plugin in cubase, it always send the status to the Generic Remote (if it's set up correctly), while for example Chainer doesn't....
