Looking for crotales samples but have only found them in big expensive libraies so far (not an option right now). Have anyone seen a set sold separate or in smaller libraries?

I don't have any of those - but I could try sampleing a small heavy bronze cymbal
Here is a quick test of one hit of one cymbal tuned, I reckon with a couple of different hits so that the cymbal changes dynamically, then it might be a quick substitute.
Small mp3 example of one of the nine 24 Bit 44.1 kHz mono waves in the test pack

And the rar on this link
http://spe3d.com/samplefiles1/Spe3dCrot ... niTest.rar
And some more tuned samples with another hit, to go with that test pack
MP3 example
http://spe3d.com/samplefiles1/Cym2_Spe3d_29_A.mp3
http://spe3d.com/samplefiles1/Cym2_Spe3d_30_C.mp3
And the rar with 16 samples 24 bit 44.1 kHz mono
http://spe3d.com/samplefiles1/Spe3dCrot ... tAddOn.rar
That's about as high as I can go pitch wise without it sounding dreadful at 44.1 kHz
And another add on
http://spe3d.com/samplefiles1/Spe3dCrot ... AddOn2.rar
What you could do now is alternate the best hits from each note from each of the packs, that way they will not sound so much like they are from the same cymbal.

230 Ethnic Drums and Percussions, from the late Doru Malaia, contains 55 crotales samples. A real bargain at US$29 including shipping to anywhere. The last I heard his friends were still filling orders for his products, but at present his website at www.dorumalaia2.com appears to be down. :-(
