Problems With Soniccouture Samples in Kontakt

I posted this issue on the Soniccouture forum, but I thought it might be more appropriate here since the problem I'm having is probably more an issue with Kontakt than with the Soniccouture samples.
I'm having trouble getting the demo versions of Soniccouture sample libraries to play correctly in Kontakt 2. I've downloaded and installed the NI 2.1 Demo pack as well as the Mbira and Konkrete Drums demo packages, but when I load the instruments into Kontact, the sounds don't trigger smoothly. With the Mbira instrument, for example, I get glitchy, multiple attacks and poor timing of notes; particularly when playing faster passages (i.e. eighth or sixteenth notes). I consistently get the same results with the other Soniccouture demo packages. It's also the same whether I use my MIDI keyboard or the built in keyboard in Kontakt.
I don't have any problems whatsoever with any other instruments/sample libraries in Kontakt and the CPU usage is very acceptable. I'm sure it's not the sample packages themselves, so it must be something within Kontakt that is not set up correctly to play these packages.
Can anyone provide any guidance as to what I'm doing wrong or what parameters in Kontakt may need to be tweaked so that I can get these sounds to behave normally?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
I'm on a PC with WIN XP-Pro/Athlon 3700+/2.4 GHZ/1GB RAM running Kontakt 2 (version 2.1.1.001). Thanks...

I don't have any problem with any of there amazing samples. Buy the real deal.
Check your buffers in K2 check your Polophony in K2. Check the engine in K2.
I didn't have any problems with the Konkrete freebee in K2 upgrade either.
hmmm. This is a tough one.

Yea, I'm a bit perplexed on this. I really like the sound quality and "concept" of the Abstrakt and (particularly) Synthi AKS packages, so I hope I can get this sorted. Thanks for the suggestions-I'll keep digging.

Hi,
Have you tried the new 2.2 update for Kontakt?
Have you tried the free acid pack download? Does this give you similar problems?

No, I haven't installed the Kontakt 2.2 update yet (just got the notification minutes ago). I have downloaded and installed the acid pack demo though, and unfortunately had the same results with that package as well. However I have discovered that, if I engage the Bypass button in the Script Editor section, the instruments seem to behave/play normally. I'm still investigating.

well, hopefully the 2.2 update will 'refresh ' the install of kontakt and all will be well.
