Hi Ohm,

I'm sitting here anticipating the energyXT beta release in December and thinking - "ohm's been working on 1.5 for a while now"

any chance that this December is going to be double fantasmic ? :-)

Post

... I start to drool whenever I think of v1.5...

time stretching already done, BeatQuantizer import next. New Beta soon so you can provide feedback on the stretching + new volume envelope features.
There's a pretty good chance december will be fantasmic indeed :-) (unless I loose myself in Energy XT beta testing - now there's a serious pitfall !)

Wow, my favorite plug is going to get updated? It can't be better than this :)

do alot of folks use beatquatizer?

Post

I use BeatCreator.

Actually I'd prefer beat-saving (export) functions for the created patterns, more than import... Or maybe it's already there and I just don't know how to use it?

I'm not allowed to export to the BeatCreator format unfortunately, it's a closed format like rx2. A midi + audio export feature is planned though. Not for 1.5 but a later release.
Loop cropping + normalize + timestretching is in place btw. there will definately be a beta ready before christmas.

Sorry, I didn't mean that. Just rendering to ACID format or something like that. Although of course - I just realize - I can always render the beats to wav using the host :). Somehow LiveSlice is more intuitive to me than Beatcreator, and I prefer to use as few VST's as possible in ACID Pro... I always render everything

Am I missing something?

When you [Save] from the Slicer, the slice points are written into the .wav file in an ACIDized format.
