Here's some more tips

A few "common sense" things to remember when using this utility I have discovered while using it.

KEEP THIS UTILITY KICKING AROUND!

1) If you change the location of the original "Waveshell" dll files, you will need to re-create the wrapper dll files. I expect this is because the wrapper uses the original DLL files to "hook" into and launch the plugins.

For example, I moved all my Waveshells into 'c:\program files\waves\backup wave shells\' (because they are obviously no longer required!) and the wrapper DLL files no longer worked. Once I'd re-created them from the "backup wave shells" directory and did another VST scan/update they worked fine.

2) Waves Guitar Tool Rack version 2 users, remember to use the 'WaveShell-VST 5.7.dll' file and not the old version 1 'GTR_WaveShell-VST 1.0.dll' shell.

I don't know if this is important, but I wouldn't want you to end up using the version 1 plugins by mistake when you have the version 2's. (Who knows, it may load the version 2 plugins anyway, but better safe than sorry).

With all those nice freeware stuff floating around I see no reason for "waveshell" whatever that is,
but who has it, enjoy...

I thought I remembered a thread(in eXT forum?) where somebody made this (polac?), or this came up before. I remember people complaining to jorgen they could automate wave plugs so somebody found or made a wrapper.
