ST2 XL library re-installation

I have ST2 XL, and with it 8 sound CDs.

With the upgrade to 2.1, I got 2 DVDs.

Now, I have had to do a complete re-install on a new machine, so I'm asking myself what the easiest way of getting the complete sound set is.

Do the 2 DVDs replace all 8 of the previous CDs? Do they include any of the bonus material from the IK user area?

I'm afraid, not even Squids could give exact information about the patch changes. Not that he doesn't know what he's doing
From other threads we know that some of the patches kept the same names, but were updated,let it be different effect settings or more samples. So that is gonna be different.

My suggestions is:
- No projects with the old samples really needed? Than delete them and just keep the new stuff.
- enough space on your HD? Well, keep it all.

Thanks - but could you at least inform me if the two DVDs are supposed to replace the entire XL library or just the regular?
