ESC- Auto-looping with Hardware Converter?

I'm fairly new to Extreme Sample Converter. One of the things I bought it for was making multisample sets from my hardware synths. I've been able to get it working just fine, but one thing which seems to be lacking... is it possible for the Hardware Converter to set loop points automatically as it records? I realize these loops might need tweaking later, but it would be nice if there was a feature that says "Set loop start point 2 seconds after Note On, and set loop end point at Release point"... and of course it should look for zero-crossings when setting the loop point.

So can it do this already? Or do I need to go into the Loop Editor after recording, and set each of my loop points manually, one at a time?

I don't see the point in setting the loop points automatically. Since you would have to change them anyways why set them in the first place ?

Yes, but only for sample conversion so far, sorry.

Have you tried emailing Wlodzimierz?

Well, if the hardware I'm sampling has a fairly stable sustain section, the automatic looping would probably be sufficient. But I see your point.

In my opinion, but i am a particulary picky bastard, auto looping is never sufficient. You simply have to do it manually for it to be of any use. I do have Zero-x Seamless looper which helps but i still have to choose which one is best from the choices i get from the program. And i often tweak that too.

Looping is just one of those things that computers are'nt very good at.
