Hasn't it got the tuning thing already? I was under the impression that you can import .tun files, which in turn can be converted from scala files.
If there is a more extended method though, can someone please explain?
Thanks,
Steve T

It has basic microtuning support (Scala .tun files), but Vaz/Anamark have defined an extended tuning format that is not supported (yet).

OK, thanks BT - I'll investigate. I'll have a think about some features too but yeah lowering CPU load would be great.

A logical RANDOM FUNCTION !
Where the user can select to randomize specified things like:
Pads (than different categories glas, analog, bright etc.)
Bass
FX
and so on....
More sounds in direct access !!!
Look at Zeta many banks of 128 programs.
Then a bank manager to move and copy sounds around,
a function to organize sounds easy,
(never seen so far on any VSTi, but I miss that everyday)

Tried the right-click menu on the bank page ? You can copy & paste presets around...

This is a typical VST-Host-job, not the plugin's job. (Why inventing the wheel a hundred times?)Midiworks2 wrote:Then a bank manager to move and copy sounds around, a function to organize sounds easy,

If your VST-Host doesn't support this, tell the developer that you would like to have this option in the next upgrade.

Personally, I would find patch grouping to be a welcome addition. While auditioning sounds can be fun, sometimes I'm just looking for 'a decent pad' and would love it if sounds were grouped that way... sorta like what Crystal does.

Remember the old ATARI ST days ?
Steinberg Synthedit for all that hardware synth ?
The Korg M1 editor was really interesting, maybe its time to look back
and see the great things that had been done before!
AnaMark: You have really no clue what I mean...
I am not talking about a typical VST-Host-job !
Go and ook at the old wheels and learn find
ways around the VST limitations.
Why not Auto generate 100 banks by style, then collect the best and kick the rest ?
Set your minds free !

Hey Tick,
Since you've got the additive engine, being able to read(somewhat)K5 and K5000 sysex would be way hip.I realize the translation wouldn't be exact as far as mod envelopes, etc;but I know there's K5000 users on this forum,(and maybe some K5 users besides me) who'd be blown away by being to import their waves from their hardware into Rhino via sysex
.

Hmmm, I thought the K5000 had 64 harmonics ? Rhino additive synth is only 16...
