once i've created a 'pattern' that's assigned to say C3, I would very much like to copy that whole pattern to say C#3 and begin to change it up
and I can't seem to find a way to do this
so either in my impatience and laziness I haven't come across this in the manual
OR
such a feature isn't implemented yet
(I have tried what I would think woul dbe the Windows convention of holding CTRL doena dn selecting a set of 'events', but it didn't seem to work.
So please either let me know how to do this
OR
implement such a feature for the next release

could it be that the manual needs a little more work? any comments?

i think it's mostly a workflow issue
one gets used to copying from the original slices down to an arrangement and within that arrangement
so I made the assumption that there would be a way to copy a whole arrangement (or a portion of an arrangement using Ctrl C to select more than one event) within that same arrangement view -- and switching note triggers to bring up the fresh 'target'
so looking in the manual, I was looking in that 'editing' section for the arrange view and this function isn't there
and it didn't occur to me to look or try the note trigger section
it makes logical sense once pointed out
still the scenario above would be useful for partial copy and multiple select, but it's not necessary

I was just looking for this function the other day in the manual and couldn't find it.
I was sure I had stumbled across a command for doing this in a previous read, but I was in a hurry with someone looking over my shoulder and in the end I went for the Control-A + Control-C + Control-V approach.
It's a very nice command though - sure to remember it this time around.
Regards
Caleb

Little bit OT, but In comparing the manual (24 Jul 06) and the command guide (Nov 05), I'm not seeing mention in the manual at all of the "Outputs" button in the slicer. I hope this doesn't indicate the future of that buttonohm wrote:could it be that the manual needs a little more work? any comments?

you can use multiple outputs in the energy xt sequencer - just add more outputs to the sequencer and click some button on the sequencer track to set up the routing.

ah, you are right - no multichannel inserts, I thought you were using it as an instrument...

Yah, I am sooo looking forward to having synced recording in the main window! But I just wanted to mention that part about the manual since you asked. And I hope ver 1.5 is coming along, I am about to do some serious recycling I think. I think I remember when LS was just a Buzz plugin, right, wishing I could get that for Psycle! Things have moved along for sure!

Hi frog_jr, wouldn't it work for you to load livesliceEffect in it's own midi track (as instrument) from which you can do multichannelrouting - and than route the output of the desired audiotrack to liveslice...
255 characters....eemm...let's see...
