This is a quick note for Image-Line:
There is a feature missing in DirectWave: There is no "clipboard" for the wave editing. This means it is not possible to make a selection in one sample, "cut" or "copy" it to the clipboard, then paste the result into another sample.
This is a bummer, and DirectWave editing really needs such a "sample clipboard" to be truly useful.
Please fix this - it's a big deal, it's easy to implement, and I believe it will help you sell your product.

Mm. clipboard/copy/cuttin' a sample and paste in the same (or another) sample works already unless I'm missing something.
Edit: I guess do you mean cut/copy and paste to an empty (sampleless) zone? I just added this to my todo list, indeed is missing a-must-feature.
Maybe too late for 1.30 (is already released beta). But will be there surely in 1.31.

That's great to hear!!! Oh yeah, where is the 1.30 beta available from (assuming it's public) as I can't find it in Looptalk or DirectWave forumsarguru wrote:Edit: I guess do you mean cut/copy and paste to an empty (sampleless) zone?
