Hello, i am a lazy producer looking for a good sample library of drum loops in the style of Go! Team. i know they used sampes from records and live drums but as i said i'm lazy. just want that old skool breaks sound, Portishead, northern soul, Beastie Boys etc. am already using Dirtbag which is great, anyone know of anything else like that out there? any help much appreciated, cheers.

No ideas, but Thunder, Lightning, Strike reminds me a lot of Phil Spector's work - there was a thread about his wall of sound technique somewhere here recently.

Brilliant album btw.

as well as the sampling they have 2 live drummers, both of whom hit hard.

I'm also interested in these kinds of drums. Sound like it was recorded realyl far from the mic with lots of noise and room reverb.

you'll want to check this out amazing cool stuff. both volumes 1 & 2. cheap. very nice folks to deal with. highest recommendation
