I might add that this was the very reason I bought AT..to get AT2 and to be able to make an attempt to re-create Jimi's rig. I think I even mentioned it on the infamous AT2 thread.
Now to have this and to have it be in conjuction with Authentic Hendrix..

I think the cardboard mockup is still somewhere lying around in my folks house ...
It was actually stolen many years ago and then it showed up on...where else..EBAY!
Roger bought it back of course...

The first real rock concert I ever went to was Utopia during their Ra tour. Between the Powell Probe, the Ankh guitars, the giant sphinx and the pyramid that Todd climbed and dove off of during Singring and the Glass Guitar--well, let's just say it blew my 17 year-old mind. The music wasn't half bad either.
Coincidentally, it was the "Another Live" album that convinced me that I wanted to learn how to play guitar. Always loved Mr. Triscuits and the screaming melody line that Todd and Roger played together.

Yes, for those that don't know, Beergeek's brother is legendary keyboardist Roger Powell of Utopia (and also has a new album out so check it out!). Speaking of Todd, he's playing tomorrow night with Studio ProFile drummer Jerry Marotta (to be known as from here on in! haha) and Tony Levin. I wish I could go but we're having another Ocean Way party. But, that would be a nice one!
Anyway, yes Jimi Hendrix edition!!!!! This is what I've been hinting about all this time in "the" thread. I am too tired to go on about it at the moment but whether you want to get classic Hendrix tones or simply want one amazing collection of emulated vintage gear this one is a NICE one to get. I believe if you already own AT2 or AT2 Live (or any IK product in fact) you can get the crossgrade discount for AT2 JH edition when it is out. It will be out this Quarter by the way!
