Does the Jimi AT2 collection have any duplications from the original AT2?
If I buy the jimi collection can I use all of the extra FX, and amps, etc... in AT2? Like mix and match with other componenets of AT2?
Thanks,
dw

Haven't compared them feature by feature but I think someone in another thread enumerated the overlaps -- just a few -- and that the new components can be used along with existing AT2 components if you have the original. I hope so!

From the IK site:

Not only will the Jimi Hendrix Edition allow you to get that authentic Hendrix sound but it can also be integrated within AmpliTube 2 to expand the available stomps, amps and cabinets. The Jimi Hendrix Edition will add some of the most rare and collectible stomps and amps that guitarist crave the most. Mix and match them with the entire selection of other AmpliTube 2 components for one of the most complete collections of vintage gear ever made available for playing and recording.
Play what you feel and feel what you play.

Excellent. I was about to post with a copied quote from another thread saying that there were a few overlaps and which ones, but I got a BSOD and that was that.

Minor overlap of a few pieces but they may even be tweaked a little differently as each piece can also have sound differently subtley (like each Fuzzface sounded a little different than the next).
Either way you quality for a crossgrade discount which would cover any concern over overlap... but like I said it is minor just to complete the rig. You get enough good stuff you don't have in AT2 to justify the price.
