I have recently found myself purchasing some Future music/CM mag here in the states just to collect the sample collections and the occasional free synth that I may or may not use. I read somewhere on the KVR site that typically you can find these samples on the net. Are there any resources/sites that I could go to look for these the loops/samples? Other than KVR of course, typically my first look.

On a somewhat related topic --
Is there anyway to (legally) get a collection of the CM 16-bit classics?

The samples that computer music magazine offers are not available on the internet, maybe older issue had stuff you could easily find on the net but not the most rescent.

thinking about it, why not just stop collecting the thousands of samples and learn to morph the ones you have already! thats easily going to give you lots more samples!jasmeece wrote:I have recently found myself purchasing some Future music/CM mag here in the states just to collect the sample collections and the occasional free synth that I may or may not use. 1 - get wavosaur! and some fun tings
2 - read stuff, more stuff, and more stuff.
3 - experiment, render, repeat step 3.
ps. sorry if you already know all this.

A couple of months ago, CM had the Paax 3 sampler and a bunch of samples for it on the DVD.Supposedly 24 bit most of them.
90% of them sounded just terrible.I was astounded how bad they sounded. The other big thing on the DVD was the UVI Universal Player with it's PACE drivers.
What a big zero that turned out to be.
I dont get it...do Paax think anyone is gonna buy their product when the samples that come with it totally suck ass?
