Does anyone know if there is a sample library or virtual instrument available that recreates the sound of fairground organs, orchestrions and other old time automated music machines?

Fairground organs and orchestrons are built up from reed and woodwind organs, and a bunch of other acoustic instruments played mechanically.
So you should be able to find the components in generic libraries...

There's been a thread in this forum about steam organs/calliopes in the past, maybe hunt that thread up and you'll get some more pointers.

Yes, call me lazy but I don't think I want to piece it together from various sources, I was more looking for a complete set in form of a virtual instrument or ready made library.
For an authentic sound you would also have to have all the noises of the mechanic parts that go with it.

Take two recorder samples, detune one by a pretty decent fraction of a semi-tone, and Bob's your organ grinder's monkey.
