This stared out by my sending a link to the grappa java thingy to my buddy Dieter Zobel. I thought he'd get a kick out of it as it reminded me of his old Leboz TV ensemble that I admired so much. He got inspired by it and did a cool variation of Leboz TV and gave it a granular sampler as a front end that can be driven by the display GUI. He uploaded it last weekend and I had a few minutes to goof with it tonight on a deeper level than I've had time to for some while with Reaktor.

Here's the results:

I'm working on a sample set to toss in this thing. If anyone's got any spooky-dooky/industrialized/otherwise nasty samples they'd like to contribute that are copyright free I'd like to share the ensemble here soon.

This is an evil sounding f**ker, lemme tell you...I mean like silly, gratouitous, shit your pants Evil.

What's the upload size limit at the User Library, anyways..?

I posted a quick and dirty mp3 sample over at myspace if anyone's interested; the recording is a short sample taken from the Session 9 film and a sample of a bumblebee (

ps: vurt, this squares in nicely with your request the other day. If I trimmed off the extra features (dual reverb, auto-panner, and auto-vibrato), I could easily fit in 4-5 of these samplers..
