hello,
im just realizing i became a little bored and uncomfortable with all the vst synth thing, now im just looking for a good sampler vst and work just with that (and a host).
remember reading here on kvr about a release of ems synthia sounds , wondering if there is more people covering all this great "classic synths" and releasing it as samples packs.
thanks.

no, all synths have been sampled. everyone is looking for the acoustic supersaw now.
i think (seriously now) that there will always be people sampling and releasing the "classics". but why not use the search function? or check the front page of KVR? or go to ...

Are you sure you want to do that?
I can understand if you want to get away from synth sounds. But to use synth sounds and not want to use synths is just crippling yourself.
Why are you bored and uncomfortable?

There are samples of some classic synths included in the 2 free SYNTHPACKS on my website (including the one in my sig pic) ... but if you're really serious about working with just a sampler and a host, I'd recommend buying a "classic synth" and sampling it yourself. It's much more satisfying than loading sounds created by someone else.

I don't know ...Is it better than a real Virus?
Check out ManyOne btw (Link in my signature)...simple and effective and designed to cover some classic synths using real samples from the original instruments. With all the addons available from various Companies....you can choose your goodies.
Also we at ManyTone have other Classic Synth packs from Real Hardware coming soon.
