Help! I can't load my samples into my Macbook Pro!

I just upgraded my main computer from a Powerbook G4 to a Macbook Pro. I own the old Roland libraries and the Kurzweil version of Quantum Leap Brass (among others.) On my Powerbook, the computer would not recognize these disks and the CD icon would not show up on the desktop, but the CD and its directories would show up on Kontakt2 and I could load the sounds that way. With my Macbook, however, they do not show up in Kontakt! Is there a setting I am not finding that would allow Kontakt to recognize the disk, or is there a program that would allow me to load these samples into my hard drive? Thanks!
