How to combine Soundfonts into one?

Here is my deal. I converted a kontakt format drum set using Extre sample converter. BUT, I did not just do a straight covnersion, I converted the vsti, it records the sounds from kontakt, and then places them into a soundfont. The reason I recorded them was because I have all kinds of effects applied to each instrument in kontakt that would get lost in a straight conversion.

Since I have the drums, the hats, and the cymbals, when I did the Record and Convert of the vsti in ESC, I had to do them in different banks. Because You have to tell ESC how long you want it to hold each key, the cymbals need like 7 seconds, while the drums need only one. If I did 7 seconds for all the sample, the soundfont would be huge.
So I have 4 seperate banks that I need to combine. I combined the 4 banks in Soundfont Librarian. BUT they are SEPERATE banks still, so while the soundfont does contain all of the banks, I can only use ONE AT A TIME. I want all of these banks to be comined into one banks so that the instrument only has one bank, and so I can use all of the samples at once. How can I do this?

Thanks

AWave Studio by FMJSoft...
Though it surprises me that EXS can't do it.

Hm, if you have Kontakt, why not use it for the task?
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

I would love to, but I keep getting dropouts when rendering with Kontakt, have been for many versions. So I look to simplify with soundfont, go figure! I love being able to have total control with kontakt, but what's the point if I can't even render a final product?

I am surprised that EXS can't do it either, maybe I'm missing something, I read the manual. Thanks, I'll try Awave.

Well that was quick! Was an easy drag and drop in Awave.

Now, since the search feature is down in KVR (wtf?), a couple more questions.

I need mute groups for my hihats, and I also need to set most of the samples to play the entire sample (one shot mode?). How can I get this done in soundfont?

Thanks

Looping / one shot and mute groups can be done in AWave Studio also. Right-click to get to the properies. On a drum keyzone there's "note exclusivity - key group" for the muting in the General tab. There you also find a Looping tab, which is also there one level deeper (on sample level)

Thanks Bert, you have been so helpful, I will ask you one more! After creating the soundfont, it will not work in sfz. It works in EXS, Fruity Loop Soundfont Player, but not in sfz. Where should I look for incompatibility? The soundfont is 44khz.

Thanks

Solved: Somehow the keymapping got screwed, my sdamples were 2 octaves up on the keyboard, thanks me.

Okay, I was not able to figure out how to get these samples to "one shot", or play til end of sample. Need more help.

Disabling looping should be easy: deselect it!
EG1 (Envelope Generator 1) is for the volume. Set a high release value, and the note will continue to sound after note-off.
