Does anyone know of a good sample manager/organizer for Mac that does not use Challenge/Response copy protection?

isn't audacity a small editor? I don't see any features that let you organize your sounds files by category.

to be honest I dont think you're going to get any kind of large scale organisational functionality for free

I never said for free...I just don't like using software that uses challenge response copy protection.

"Sample Manager" from Audiofile Engineering is kind of misleading though...it's actually a sample converter...and it also uses challenge/response. I'll put it this way, I'd rather use iLok anyday before challenge/response because I don't want to depend on the developer of software when it comes time to reformat or get a new system.

audiofinder is free for browsing, moving copying, and that sort of stuff. The advanced features are unlocked when you pay for it. Warning, download it and you will end up buying it.

yea, I agree AudioFinder is the best one that I've found, but I just don't use software that has challenge/response.
