Hi,

Anyone know where I can find wavs ( or even mp3s ) of the Ludwig & Gretsch drum kits? Preferably free.
Tis the vintage 60s ones.

I can find them for Reason & other formats but having spent the afternoon searching, I still can't find any wavs.

I'm using Cubase SX 3 & the kit will be used in RMIV.
So, if anyone can help locate a site that host them so I can download for free or a sample pack that's not too steeply priced, it would be appreciated.

The one shots in this package, are of a 1973 Ludwig Vistalite drum kit.

The one in this picture:

Would 5$ count as 'not too steeply priced'?

Of course, there are lots of free sample sets around, but I don't know of any that are specifically of vintage Ludwig or Gretsch drum kits.

I'd check out robbiesurp's samples on FreeSound. Only of few, 2 kicks/2 snares, are listed as Ludwig but they're all pretty good.

All under a Creative Commons license by the by.

Looking for Ludwig & Gretsch kits...
