Converting Loops Rex2/Apple/Acid

I'm working on some upcoming loop products from Nucleus SoundLab.
First priority is for these loops to run ok in Stylus RMX - so of course I need to support Rex2 format. Ok (as much as I hate working with recycle), thats doable. But I would also like to support Acid and Apple loop formats for people without RMX, Reason or other Rex2 supporting software.
What is the best way (is there any way?) to convert a loop from Rex2 to these other formats? If I need to re-slice it in another app for each format, I give up. Slicing in Recycle already takes forever and I can't imagine doing 3x the work to support Acid/Apple.
Ideas?

Ok I just exported separate files from Recycle 2.0 build 45 to wav format with a matching MIDI file.. These files can be dropped sequentially into most samplers, thats 1 solution.. Also you could use SFZ format with individual files (so theres one file for the sampler but still separate files).. Then theres export SF2 from Recycle which'll give you one file again and a MIDI file.. Would love to help you on this..

I may be wrong but I think drag and dropping rex loops over the apple loop utility in Logic converts those loops to Apple loops.

Really? I don't have a Mac yet to test this on but I plan on purchasing on very soon. Can anyone confirm? And does this Loop Utility come with Logic or can you get it seperately?Rusty Shackleford wrote:I may be wrong but I think drag and dropping rex loops over the apple loop utility in Logic converts those loops to Apple loops.

Those are ok solutions for those who have Recycle. But for the average user who just wants to drag n drop an Acidized wav into their sequencer its got to be easier.
If its true that the Apple Loop util converts Rex2 ok, maybe I'll just have to settle for Rex2/Apple Loop format, and those who can't use either of those will have to Acidize the loops themselves...

The loop utility is a part of Logic, but I think it may be on all mac systems by default. Actually, I just tried doing this and it didn't seem to want to work.
BUT, a quick google search turned this up: http://www.courseptr.com/downloads/bonu ... dendum.pdf
It seems you can batch convert rex loops into apple loops from within Logic's project manager. Not quite sure how you'd be able to do this outside of Logic though... surely there's a way.
