does it help eliminate some of the PC noises when set up correctly?
Is the sound really dry - as advertised???

A bigger version (but cheaper, whole thing is about $40-50) and can be collapsed to be put away:

that's a really nice thing there...serves a purpose, cheap, and it's already spelled out how to do it...

i have one, and i wouldnt try to use it as a "booth" to reduce ambient noise. I dont think it is intended for that use either..? But it does a very good job at drying up a sound source, and sucking up sound that goes straight into it .. so there's less reflexions in the room afterwards :) Stick one ear into it, and it is almost as you have dipped it under water :)

sound on sounds recommends (as usual) a heavy duvet behind the person talking or singing together with the reflexion filter in front.

I have one. Blew me away first time I used it. Even now that I'm in a much better acoustic space, it's rAre that I'll not use it. One case where I'm an admitted fanboy. :)
