thoughts on dbx 160A Comrpessor? DBX

people seame to give the 166xl and 266xl horrible reviews. so i wonder, how does the 160A fare when reviewed?

The 160A isn't much different. I personally am not a fan. It's a bit grainy, dirty sounding when hit hard, tends to have a bad colorization in the mids especially on vocals.
The 160X and XT are excellent, as are the 1066 and the 1046.
