Errr, why not just rip sounds yourself?

All those kicks come from records anyway, layered, tweaked etc. Its money for old rope.

Sorry, just my take on it. Why cant we have some cool ORIGINAL sample libraries again, rather than this formula driven bs?

Rip (famous records) + Slice (no zero crossings though) + Save (as 128kbps .mp3) + Repeat (with less effort each time) = NEW SAMPLE CD OUT!!!! $400 FOR 12 NEW KICKS!!!!!

also synth1 presets (one note holds) cover more (even the drums) than the mp3 demo of that samplepack.

Absolutely!

I could use those breaks all day long. I think there is a lot of room with your loops to process further. Im sure if I ran one of those through an amp or something it would be a different break!

I love libraries where you are actually getting some cool original content. Be it fx, ambiences, breaks, dance loops... whatever. Just give me something cool and inspiring!

Really, this money for old philosophy is going to ruin the sample industry.

Dont get me wrong, this isnt an 'anti dance loops' thing. Please, make dance loop CD's all day long! Just make the loops cool and original. I cant bare to buy sample CD's and find that its basically nothing more than a crate diggers CD.
