got the sampler bit functioning near proper, got a stutterer in place as well. drill sounds, etc.... see ya soon. (works insane great with data samples!!)
SPLAMPLERATOR TESTER VERSION

works by sloping the bpm information, using an envelope. An lfo mixes between the to bpm or hz values, described on the interface by the numerical displays, i guess at this point the gui is vague at best... i'll be working on that a bit... theres a couple other types of sampler thingys i'm workingon , this one is slapped to gether to be simple and somewhat easy to use.... makes factory machine type sounds.... also can use samples to make whiney buzzy sounds... try and find samples with high attack values... be forwarned you will have to load samples and set up the device bfore you can use it..... so, change all the zeros to something, and click the load sample button.... and you should be good to go, by the way, this is an instrument.... suggestions on the gui??? maybe rip little bits from some images of industrial equipment??? someone make me some morphing wierd knobs or something?? like a glass bulb filling with liquid??

reworking the stuff, more news soon... most bugs and inappropriate behaviour now in check (somewhat) this stuff gets pretty wierd... maybe drop a simple thingy to iterate my point soon???

Post

hi dover,r u doin' the dc?

Post

i don't know, i think i'm just hoping to see as unique and amazing entries as last year... i'm pretty strapped right now on my pc, it's very old, and starting to show some problems... i'm hoping to make it through the studies i'm working on right now...
if i could get a decent enough check at work i wouldn't mind throwing 20 bucks into the pot....
trying to grabb some fresh extrememly high attack samples today to work more on my music and pluggys...

oh,go on.

sounds like a cool idea.i hope i get time to check this out soon.have you got the ck modules?i got them for xmas but haven't had chance to try them out yet.

Post

i don't have them... i would love them, but i'm pretty much unable to purchase things online right now, and don't really have the money either (saving for a usable computer)

(btw, i've got the concept on lock, this is just a tiny teaser, my pc is really shitty, and i can get very little algo structure going with it... can barely handle building a synth on the damn thing...)

Post

shame, come peeps chip in and get dover some modules or send him some hardware. :help:

hmmm.... i wish i didn't bitch so much about my situation, but it does seem as though i got a lot more done down in nm last fall than i have all winter... anyway, anyone try this thingy.... it's a lot of fun to play with, you can make all kinds of cool flexy fast noises!!

Post

it's ma birthday today,so maybe i'll get time, maybe not.i'm trying to install all my '98 stuff onto my xp machine,so i can ditch one.but it's takin' ages, keep bumpin' me as i looky fwd to some fun. ;)

mmmm/.... did i mention yet this thing is incredible when you strap it to doversstutterer..... turn a woodblock into a chainsaw.... laets.

It is a nice plugin but I don't get the feeling that this can do so much at the moment. It would be great if you could include a written manual so we who didn't do this plugin can use it as well.

mmmm, i forget, does it even have any labels right now,??

i'll get to that soon... the most important aspect of this is that its designed to work within a group of plugs that will aid in automation, audio delivery to amplitude triggered effects, etc... a complete "factory" of sound, not unlike the cacophany that completes a true factory environment... really what this plug does is allow you to rapidly retrigger samples in evolving speed patterns, allowing you to create engine type sounds, autopunch rynthms, etc.... i wish i could trigger dhaupts sampler modules like the se sampler triggers.... anywho, time to run back upstairs and finish my beer... cheers folks.
