How edit or create a multi note pattern

I am new to Z3ta 1.41 and am using the windows version. My question refers to Patch C:000 8 bar first contact, which when held down creates a very nice dance/trance pattern.

My question is can I edit this, or can I create my own pattern, so that when I press a key, a pattern that I have created will play.

Maybe what I am asking is very difficult, maybe not, I'm just curious.
