First let say that Sampletank/SonicSynth are and have been my go to synths for quit sometime. I'm looking forward to 3.0 (whenever it comes out) and I have couple of features I like to see added to Sampletank. I know this is a esoundz forum so before I post my request I wanted to know if IK has a feature request area.

You can try the Technical Support page: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/Main.html?Support.php
I, too, would like to see certain features in the next ST release, namely:
- better import
- better import
- better import
- proper instrument editor
- improved timestretching algorithm

I would also like to see some sort of combination import feature, that would allow you to use more than one combination in a set up.

Hi Paul!PaulG wrote:The only thing keeping me from using ST exclusively for making my own instruments (drum kits, etc,) is I would guess the same thing?
Well, for that, what would be cool is a keymapping feature, so we could just drag a wav file to a cell, and then be able to define the keys that control that cell. I'm thinking something like DR 008 built right into Sampletank that we could use to make our own sample sets. mmmmmmmmm

Sounds like you guys are with me on this one.
1. Improved Editing
- Realtime Sample Editor/Slicer (Auto and Manual)
- Realtime Key/Zone Mapping
2. Sampletank as and Multi FX unit
- Routing of audiostreams from your DAW into and channel of Sampletank. So say if you a vocal track and you want use one of those fine compressors or limiters in Sampletank you would just insert a Samplestream (IK's new MultiFX Technology
) and select which instance of Sampletank you'd like to route it to the go to that instance of Sampletank select that stream place in channel you want just like we do with samples.
Submitted to IK Support - Thanks Trixie

Sampletank should also include the CSR plug from Philharmonik, so we can load Philharmonik combinations in Sampletank.

Actually, it kinda already exists. It's called Get T-RackS And Amplitube.

We're still not any closer to ST being a real sampler but yes, it is very nice to see those additions and have them for free. Appreciated.

Not only does it have effect sends (great for reverb - less CPU than using as inserts) but you can run ALL of the 16 parts into ONE set of 5 effects to make "mega instruments" with multiple elements... something we've done in the Sonik Instruments.
