FLStudio lets you randomise all settings on a plug in. OK Im lazy on the sound design front, but doing this on the mighty Zebra 2 has given a few sounds I... well... havent heard anything quite like ever before. And Im a fan of the extreme end of electronic music.

I love randomising synths, it can lead to all sorts of inspiration, especially if you're open minded about it and don't just wait for obvious lead or bass sounds. And as you say, it can surprise you sometimes to hear what a synth can do when you get off the beaten path
