Hi, I just want to give the creator of Augustus Loop some kudos... it's a very nice program, I like it a lot. I paid for it, got way more than my money's worth. Thanks.

It's not just cool.
It totally blew the top of my head off.
In a two day period starting easter sunday afternoon and
finishing the following afternoon I created 60 minutes
of new music with one guitar, a bank of signal processors
and our new friend Augustus.
The people I played this for not only had no idea a guitar
could make the sounds I was able to make but it sounded like
a huge, layered, massively overdubbed project when in reality
it was all done live.
Playing the result to family members and friends they had no
idea this was even possible.
The possibilities of gigging with this live is not only
possibly, but highly probable.
Anyway, kudos, salute, etcetera. Augustus Loop is the bomb,
let's hope he doesn't get stuck in the chocolate distribution
tubes at the factory!

Must agree from the brief time I tried it that it's far more versatile than many of the effects that are considered must-haves by many.
We escape the trap of our own subjectivity by
perceiving neither black nor white but shades of grey
