Yes, and yes. rx2 can extend tails when slowing the tempo down. Longer tails are good, even if they aren't fluffy like mine.

ReCycle 2.1 which creates REX2 files allows more 'slices' than previous versions, and supports high-quality 24-Bit audio. This version also has more tone shaping features. It may be a bit dated in the world of software, but I still use it with enthusiasm.

Hmm, I see. Thanks. Doesn't look like I'll be buying ReCycle anytime soon though, as I don't really plan on producing many loop samples, I just have one smallish project here to do.
