Free Organ Samples

Eight all-new organ soundsets, in Sampletank, sf2, sfz and Wusik. These were a byproduct of the development process for a Dangerous Bear project which is in the pipeline, but didn't work as planned. But they are workable, so I decided to share them as a multiformat freebie. The recordings are clean, and the loops good, they just didn't do what was meant to be done for the project they were created for. Basic presets with no programming, but solid, useful organ sounds.

Not my cup of tea (too "synthy" and for my music (melodic death metal) i prefer dark sounding church pipes type of organ), but i guess these samples can be useful for other genres like funk for example.

Thanks for checking them out anyway. The only bad feedback is no feedback, and I'm just happy that my misfit soundset was publicly presentable so somebody can get some use from them. Just remember that the samples are only the starting point of what you can do to get the sound you want out of your synth, there's plenty of mangling and transformational possiblities with the engines that this multiformat set will play in. Also, I often find that the samples which seem the most nondescript on their own are the best fit in a mix because they end up not taking up so much space and attention.Mutant wrote:Not my cup of tea (too "synthy" and for my music (melodic death metal) i prefer dark sounding church pipes type of organ), but i guess these samples can be useful for other genres like funk for example.
The above tips go for everybody any time you're checking out new free samples, or for using sample-based synths period.
Mutant, I hope that we have in the product line now, or someday create, some sounds you like. Please check out the audio demos and the rest of our freeware.

Would love to check them out, but am on a Mac.

Sorry about that. 7zip is probably less compatable with stuffit expander than rar. I do have the archive as an rar sfx, but put up the 7-zip file to save space(it's half the size of the rar). However, since I've been able to clear out some space, I'll put up the rar version to see if that will help out Mac folks. I'll announce it when that gets done, probably by tomorrow morning.Pantsdown666 wrote:Would love to check them out, but am on a Mac.

Thanks to all who have been downloading and enjoying these. Now available in an rar package, which should work better for Mac users than the previous 7zip package.
