Does the PowerCore Compact accept 3rd party plugs?

Does the TC Electronic PowerCore Compact accept 3rd party vst/au plugins or it only uses its own or kinds made just for it?
What do you get when you cross an elephant with a rhinoceros? Elefino! Ba do symbol crash!

only the plugs made for it. There are third party developers (Sony Oxford, etc) but again they are made exclusively for Powercore.

They have to be spcially made for the Powercore as it runs Motorola 56k processors. But there are 3d party plugins written for it. But running say Synth1 on one does'nt work.

That's a shame. Receptor is the better option after all as far as compatibility.

I could be wrong, but I don't think your native VST plugs will run on Receptor either as I'm pretty sure plugins have to be coded for that platform as well. You can probably make an argument that more 3rd party companies are availible on Receptor though.emumk6 wrote: Receptor is the better option after all as far as compatibility.
