Ive been trying to make music in Fl studio for a while now, but im having trouble with synth and bass lines. Is there a certain scale or group of notes used often in hardstyle or gabber? What progressions should i use?

Yeah, minor (harmonic, pentatonic, or natural), phrygian, or Locrian.

How do you mean? They're scales, you use them.

I can't speak to the common progressions as I don't know much about Gabber outside of it's dark quality, and those are the darkest scales (they're the ones that industrial and metal acts use, too, they're common).
