I used it and its all it should be in my opinion.. ITs a great PRE that works great, there isnt much else to say. The compressor is quite transparent which is good for vocals. I mean I DID only use it for vocals, but I imagine its good for other things as well..

ok thanks for the input man, its just that i cant tast/hear it, so i'm asking here if its any good. I'm going to use it mainly on vocal since its a VoiceMaster processor :)

is there anymore guys that have opinion about this processor? feel free to post :)

Thanks

I have one.

I find that all the FX and processing are pretty redundant for me - I almost always turn it all off and just get a clean signal to my DAW. The few times I experimented with the processing sections I didn't particularly like them, and didn't want to commit them to tape. I haven't really done much stuff using the VMpro to process already recorded signals but I'll give that a go at some point.

For my uses, I would have done better with the Twintrack Pro (which didn't come out for a year or so after I bought the VMpro) which would give me an extra preamp and loses the processing sections.

So yes, I have one, and I like it, I have the digital board so it's an easy way to get signals into the computer, and the preamp is fine for a mid range unit.
