Gotta send my Kurzweil in for a repair, so yesterday I sampled my favourite bass patch from it so I can use it while it's away.

Anyway, The samples are all looped and keymapped for EXS24 and Reason's smaller sampler (can't remember its name), and I'll probably make a soundfont this weekend.

If any of you fellow KVRers are interested, I'll post a link to it as soon as I can get it uploaded.

The samples are in WAV format. 48k mono, trimmed and looped. The root note is embedded in the sample and also as the name, for samplers that don't recognise root notes.

For Logic users; just save the samples on your HD and copy the EXS file into your 'Sampler Instruments" folder. Then when you open EXS 24 the patch Kurz Bass will appear in your instrument list. The first time you will have to point EXS 24 to the folder with the Kurzweil samples - re-save the instrument.

Reason users it's a similar process. Load the patch into NN19, find the samples, then re-save patch.

If you want to use NNXT, load all the samples then automap from the edit menu.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this bass. It's one of my favourite bass patches and very versatile.

RAR can be unpacked with stuffit expander on MAC, no problem
