Energy XT under Renoise is it possible to run external gear?

Hi,

I've tested the vst2mid plugin but cannot send mididata to my external gear. I've selected a MIDI OUT1 as the output of the miditrack and put the vst2mid after the sequencer in Energy XT.

(Energy XT is syncing to renoise allright but no midi is sent out)

What might be the problem?

actually what i'd like to know, is that if this is a bug in renoise or the energy xt/vst2mid.

is the audio out of VST2MID connected? it won't be active unless it is. just connect it to the master out.

Hi, i had not connected them but that did not do the trick

thnx for the advice though... Have you been able to run external synths with this?

Has actually anyone been able to run external gear (in or even outside of renoise)in energy XT or is this just something that's supposed to be possible in theory?

i've definitely done it before, but not for a while (and not with renoise).

another thing when using vst2mid would be to make sure renoise isn't taking over the midi output itself.

i'll try this myself tonight to make sure i'm not writing nonsense.
