I recently started using a Triton rack and when I want to surf some presets but don't want to wait for Ableton Live or Sonar to open, I use Energy XT 1.3.6.

I use XT to create a connection between my Axiom 49 and the Triton Rack. I have the Triton rack connected via USB on my edirol ua101.

When I use Live or Sonar the connection is a instant trigger to the sound mod and it's playable, however with XT there is some delay, some latecy to the point that it is not playable.

Any ideas?

Edit: Spes: XP PRo SP2. 1.6G dualcore, 2GB ram. Dell M65.

Instead of sending the MIDI out through the MIDI Out, disconnect it (in Setup) and try NicFit's Midi Out http://www.asseca.com/nicfit/midi_out.html
or Tobybear's VSTt2MID, in http://www.tobybear.de/p_midibag.html

Thank you, I may try these. I wonder if there is an adjustment I could make in XT that would work. Should I try the XT2 Beta?

Try EXT2 beta. Its better with outboard gear.

Does EXT2 install? It seems to just run when I click on the setup file.
Is it supposed to do that?
