The plain answer to your question is: YES! Anyone is able to create that sound. Provided they put some work at exploring synths and patch design
But I think your question is actually HOW can anyone create this sound, not weather...
This sound is a plain analog synth, square or pulse wave. Feasible to get with e.g. Synth1. Benassi just threw a side-chained compressor on it...
What tools are at your disposal, GravityO?

Okay, I'm as big of an electronic music fan as anyone, but when someone asks about the "satisfaction lead" I immediately think of the Stones. Satisfaction has to be one of the most famous guitar melody/lead sounds in history, so how is it that everyone immediately knows that the poster is talking about Benny Benassi? I'm only 24, so I know it's not a generational thing, and there are plenty of guitar dweebs here on KVR so WTF?

Keith Richards used a Gibson Meistro Fuzzbox on the lead guitar, and perhaps a saw with a resonant high-pass filter on it and portamento for the bass?

Second to that, I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he was talking about the Devo cover of the Stones tune.afreshcupofjoe wrote:Okay, I'm as big of an electronic music fan as anyone, but when someone asks about the "satisfaction lead" I immediately think of the Stones.

The Benassi "satisfaction" sound is a highpassed saw with some reverb. It is sidechained to the kick. That's it. Nothing special about it otherwise (though it sounds compressed too).

generally in a sound design thread though satisfaction refers to Bennassi.

Z3ta+ Benassi Lead as promised.

for the benassi effect you just need to automate the cutoff of the filter. You can even map it to the modwheel in the matrix, and sounds cool if you also map the reverb to the mod at the same time.
