These samples were recorded around 5 in the morning from my window, Various birds call out in these samples making different sounds. There is 14 samples in this pack and they are great for soundscape and ambient music. Size 3.74MB.

I'll give it a listen. A few years ago I was wanting to do birdrecording myself. I've heard some pretty cool recordings back then by other folks. So I'll compare yours with those.

Ok cool, hopefully the volumes ok with them, on my different computers the volume always seems different for each so getting the right volumes usually the hardest thing to do :D

I couldn't listen to them with headphones on. But on PC speakers they were good to very good. I noticed a slight reaction from my cat; so she approved them. But due to the heat she didn't began chasing :(

I'll play them later on large speakers, to see if she'll start chasing :)

BTW, they were not too loud; none of them clipped as far as I could tell. I like them!

Ah ok thats great to hear, i did them on a Zoom H4 from my window with the wind coming in which created some distortion, i did a bit of editing to try and get rid of that though and the results were quite good, they are probably not the best bird recordings but they passed for me so i thought i should share them :D

they're great sounds, thanks!
Only thing I noticed on headphones, with both these and your kitchen sounds, was that there's quite a bit of unnecessary bass coming through - whcih may be why they appear too hot on your PC.
You may want to use an editor and cut below, say, 60hZ.

Upon second time listening, this time very loud: I could hear the rumble, so yes a bas cut is right.
The samples are usable when used 'gently', but they need some masking with louder sounds before and after, so people don't listen to them at 90 dB or so...

ok thanks, i will do some editing when i get some time, lower the volume a bit and try to cut the bass, i think thats due to the wind as it was windy that day so the mic's probably picked that up and i boosted the volumes in audacity so yeah some editing will be done for, thanks for letting me know guys :D
