BR - Mousewheel freeze

I keep getting this. If I load Rhino, which has a scrollable preset list, and use the mousewheel to scroll the whole thing locks up and I can only close it using task manager. Happens everytime.

Crap - just did it with Anamark too while using mousewheel on a knob - seems to be anything scrollable on a plugin gui and it freezes if you use mousewheel with that gui open
Found a "fix" of sorts though - if you minimise eXT to the taskbar then maximise it again it unfreezes (though it locks up again as soon as you use the mousewheel)

I can kind of reproduce. What is happening for me is that if I mouse wheel scroll (used FM7) I scroll all the way down and it won't go all the way back. Some times it gets stuck but if a keep scrolling up and down it will break free for a split second. I can't get it to freeze or crash.

Same problem with Sampletank 2.5, Wusikstation v2 seems o.k these together with Rhino are the only synths I have where the presets are loaded from within gui and have scroll - fine with the scroll bar, touch the mouse wheel and - freeze!

For issues where we haven't found he root cause, I'll just link to the thread.
I'll link this one into the issues list, so if the post sinks, go to the known issues sticky and find this link to add more info.

Yep, had it with R66, Surge and Phoscyon. Not sure if most of these even respond to the mouse wheel but as soon as I touch it the GUI freezes. Minimizing and maximizing eXT2 makes it respond again so I can continue.

Amused, you should add BR to the title in case a developer is trolling.

I noticed something as well. Namely that my current test plugin didn't need any focus anymore to receive mouse wheel messages, as if there was some low level hook going on.
First I thought this was a new feature but now hearing all the bug reports ...
