In the MlTrn Cello Mix NL sample, the E3 Sample has an extra higher note that gets introduced right at the end of the sample, here,,, can anyone else confirm this, and can it be fixed??

Post

let me rephrase this as a question,,, can someone else who has the Tron Collection load the sound and press E3 and see if the sound has the extra high note at the end?? 41 views and no answer,,, I'm not used to that,,, lol

Well, Harmony, good old friend. Here's the 1st answer. ;)
I don't have them, so I can't verify it. :hihi:
b.t.w.: did you happen to listen to my 1st tune at soundcklick, "Like A Bird"?

I tried it and I can confirm it.

I guess just like with the real trons, we need to conform our playing styles to the inherent limitations? Maybe it's just an extra bit of realism that Squids packed into it. :)

Thnaks, Harmony. BTW, the sounds in "Like A Bird", excep for the strummed guitar are all from the ST ExpansionPack Omnisynth.
Guess that prooves how nice things can turn out, even with just one of the smaller SR samples libraries being used.

The tapes themselves have multiple tracks, in most cases three. So, part of the charm of the machine was sometimes that the alignment was a little off and yes that is what it would sound like sometimes so it IS because of the realism and not because we accidentally mixed in another sound digitally. What you hear on this collection is VERY authentic including some rattle, hum, bleed, wow and flutter. SampleTron will be a little bit more refined than the raw nature of Squids Tron Collection. There will also be affordable upgrades to be able to have it both ways... with high notes fading in and without! ;)

Well, that's total realism,,, lol I'm sure I'll be getting Sampletron too,,, I love this Tron stuff,,,

I had it on a project, and didn't catch it until I was mixing it,,, and it took me a while to figure out what it was,,,

Adjusting my playing did solve the problem, as frunobulax suggested,,, I'm sure most "real" tron players wouldn't hold the note to the end of the tape,,,

The project I used it on was Breathin Heathen here,,, http://www.myspace.com/einsteinsgypsyrebels ,,, the extra sound isn't in it,,,lol

cool stuff, harmony. Very Tasty. You classified it "Alternativ / Progressive / Rock" and the great thing about it is that it stays easy to listen to.
