Okay, I've said it before but this time I mean it. This piece is Loud! It only gets louder throughout.
Plague-Locked Loop
It started out as a Runagate Remix but it turned out to be a complete reworking. No Break beats this time but very noisy drums and basses.
Did I mention it's loud as hell? Don't look for any dynamic range here, it's gone forever.

Wow! It lurches, it grooves, it explodes - total beat mastery! A truly worthy re-working of runagate.

Thanks dude, it does explode... I just don't think that it ever gets quiet enough for the explosions to have their desired impact.

That, my friend, is the shizzle.
I wonder how many times I will have listened by the time you read this?
It's interesting that we have almost the exact opposite fsu superpowers: I modulate the bass and melody, you buffer attack the percussion and swirlify the melody
Damn, I love this shit you do, I don't even know what to call it, but I love it so, so much.

I call it being too stoned to know better! Ha! ...ha ...oh Well, thanks I'm glad you like it. A V-Synth and Lucifer make it hard not to do that to drums. Every time I walk past my rig, it looks at me with those come-hither L.E.D.s that say "You know you want to twiddle my knobs and touch my buttons"
And I do... I so do. My wife gets really nervous when she see's me naked at the keyboard; she knows as well as I do that it's only a matter of time before I figure out how to get my penis inside that thing.

I fully understand. Vsynth, eh? I seem to recall that having a D-beam, which completely justifies owning anything.justin3am wrote:Every time I walk past my rig, it looks at me with those come-hither L.E.D.s that say "You know you want to twiddle my knobs and touch my buttons"

I already linked it over on my sites. Time for sleepy time after I flirt with an accordionist for a while.

Nice work! Hits hard & doesn't stop. Lots of cool percussion noises, but it's the bass that really does it for me.

I didn't think it was particularly loud but it was like listening to a faulty flourescent light through a bit-reduced resonant filter and glitch. I'll work out the chords tomorrow. My drummer's shitting himself.

Thanks synthgeek, my boss has been playing a lot of breakcore in the office and I wanted to show him what I could do. The bass is the main part that came from Runagate, that is what drove me to make this.
Clueless: If you look at the track in a wave editor you'll see what I mean by loud.
The sinusoidal wave shaping (phase-locked loop) is what gives it the bitcrushed sound. The drums are crazy to look at in a wave editor because there is this crazy DC offset.
Thanks FatJack, hope that means you enjoyed it.

Thanks a ton guys. I'm moving more in this aggresive direction, simply 'cause it's so damn fun. I like putting out slow detail oriented pieces (like "Untitled") once in a while but this kind of stuff just flows out of me. I hope to get better at mixing this stuff, I just feel like everything is fighting for room in this mix.
thanks again
thanks again

Awesome...
Sounds like a gunfight from the Terminator or something.
