UPDATED ON MAY 15, 2010!

This stereoizer is different than most others. I modelled it after an old hardware-synth that I have and added some extra features. It has become a useful tool to turn mono-sounds into stereo, or fatten an exsisting stereo signal. It's easy and sounds great.

Its mono-compatible: If you monoize the sound again (left channel + right channel) the added effect will dissapear completely, leaving only the original sound.
interesting one. can you give some more details about the signal processing? i guess, you add the wet signal on one channel and subtract it on the other one in order to achieve exact cancellation on monoizing? ...and is the wet signal simply a vibrato-ed version of the input? or is there more dsp-voodoo going on? i ask, because i like its sound. in particular on the bass.

Awesome plug dude! I was thinking of making something like this, but I never thought of delaying the phase-inverted part. that is a good idea and it really adds this nice depth.

Doesn't work well on drums, as expected.

yeah the drumloop demo sounds a bit flanger to me (at high freq) but still a great plugin.
thanks~

Thanks for sharing, this plug sounds great!

Thanks loads for this! It really opens up string syth patches and it's lovely on acoustic guitar. Loving the effect of extreme settings as well.

Nice one !
I still think, your punctuation sucks, and your spelling isn't cool! So there...

add a lowpass to make it less audible?
Basic EQ tip: highpass all that don't hit subs, usually all but bass and kick

Thanks a lot, mono compatible stereoizers are always welcome.

What do you think of making a phase meter plugin? Much needed here ;D

Post

thanks, would it be possible to have numerical values beside the faders and knobs?

Post
