Hi guys...
I've been watching videos of ppl using their good ol' Akai MPC's... and was thinking that it would be quite cool to do similar things on my pc... now i'm sure its easily possible... but I was wondering what is the cheapest/free method to do it?
I'm using EnergyXT and I have reaper also - and although both these programs let you load samples and whatnot - they don't exactly chop them up easily? I'm not a professional muso - just doing this for fun, so what programs would you guys suggest?
Liveslice looks cool - i'm going to install the demo now.
Thanks!

Hi vinayk!
probably your closest freebie cousin to Liveslice is arcDev's H4xx0r
not as immediate or quite as easy to results from as LS, but it's a might strong little gem
both are nice additions to your beat mangling bag of tricks

looks good (and free!)... will install and see how it goes...
I installed liveslice - but it managed to crash reaper twice... whilst starting it... works fine in energyXT however.. will have a play with both..
any other programs free or paid? i'm sure i'll purchase liveslice at some stage - just when i'm working and am not spending only my fathers money!
Thanks,
Vinay
