ManyTone Site and mail may be down - We are changing Servers

Just to announce to you on the forums here that the ManyTone Website will be undergoing a Server change in the next days.

This may result in emails not coming through until the new server is in action.
It may also result in our WebPage and any download links you may have received via email, not loading correctly for a few days.

Bear with us as this server change was needed for us.

Hopefully the new server goes well or else we'll be going through this again.

BTW this has nothing to do with the release of ManyBass. We already serve ManyBass from another server that performed great for the release and, as far as I know served you all up at good speeds. (Wow, we served up some huge files eh? ) This move is just updating the actual ManyTone site to serve better the traffic and the reliability of the main ManyTone site itself etc.

Please don't Panic ...If we disappear ...we'll be back shortly!
And again, Email response time may be delayed during this move.

Hi

An update here for those trying to reach me.

The server changeover is just happening now.
Our email has been down since Friday (maybe even before that).
Our website may also disappear now for a bit due to the new dns pointing.

I hope to have email soon ... but just pm me through KVR if you need to reach me.

I'll post back when I know more, but I expect your ability to reach ManyTone to be down for a few days, maybe more, depending on where you are in the world.

Bear with us if you emailed and have no reply. Try sending it again in a day or 3.

Well that last post was made a few hours ago and I had just changed the DNS pointing at that time. It has already happened here and the new server is showing up in my browser. My Mail also started working again just now so messages are starting to come through already.

Good news it happened fast and hopefully the new server proves worthy...so far so good.

Depending where you are in the world, you still may experience trouble reaching us until the new dns propagates fully.
