Enabling Akai mpd24 In fruityloops

I used to have it work everytime I plugged in the mpd24 But now whenever I plug it in Windows says "USB Device not recognized" and i don't remember How i set it up.

Also when it did work, the tiniest little nudge to the wire would disconnect it, is this a hardware or software issue, any help would be greatly appreciated.

take that POS back, or get a new USB cord..
